Broad generalisation, maybe. And even wrongly generalised. But nowhere have I noticed an obsession with news and view, with knowing what’s occurring in the globe, with possessing a say about what is occurring in the planet than in TN, specifically in Chennai.

Curious and inquisitive or nosy and gossipy? Or a little of both?
One of the things that I liked about Chennai when I visited is that folks would talk to me out of no where and give me their opinion. One fellow two tables away at lunch told me how to vote (Obama).
I thought it was great. It was like being in a whole city of folks from my mom’s family… ;o)

Yes, people are vocal about politics and politicians and about what happens in the world and want to share that opinion with people.
No way! I think people in Kerala are the ones most obsessed with the news.
